May dog be with you
We at “May dog be with you.” know how important it is for us to be with our dogs, but more significantly how important it is for them to be with us. What we get from our dogs is indescribable at times. It’s something that only dog people understand.
There are scenarios that we go through every day that are humorous and amusing to us, but may not be to someone who doesn’t have a dog. We wake up with backaches on the side of the bed because our dogs like to sleep horizontally for some reason. We give the last bite of our ice cream cones which is the best part to our dear friends. We take separate vacations because we wouldn’t enjoy ourselves knowing our dogs would be without us. We walk around with dog fur on our clothing. If we could, we would rescue all of the dogs in all the shelters. We would cut all of the ropes and chains of the dogs that are tied up in backyards everywhere. We would feed all the strays, give them clean water to drink, a warm place to sleep, and a simple pet on the head to let them know they are safe for the night.
Some dogs are lucky that they ended up in our homes, but many are not so fortunate. “May dog be with you.” donates a portion of every retail sale to animal shelters, rescue groups or assist dog organizations. We work with some groups where over 90% of the profits benefit their non-profit organizations. We may not be able to save them all, but we can try, one at a time.
